She prevailed over her personal struggles and dedicated herself to protecting and nurturing youth. Her unwavering commitment to safeguarding the innocence of young ones touched the hearts of many.
Emma was a brave and resilient individual. Despite facing violence and health challenges, she overcame them with grace, courage and determination, never letting them change her loving and giving nature. Emma was versatile. She worked in various fields from dental hygienist to real estate sales, and embarked on craft and art businesses. She also lived in several states, enjoying the outdoor activities each had to offer. Her diverse experiences and dedication to her passions made her truly remarkable.
Emma was blessed with a loving reconnection to her family, and is survived by many who will celebrate her with a special service in the spring in Montana. She shared a special bond and keenness for journaling with her sister, Pam, whom she loved profoundly. She greatly valued her friendship with Luda and Jason, with whom she spent amazing years in Florida. Emma dearly loved New Castle, having found her way here via the Appalachian Trail. Through her eyes, we experienced the wonders she found, no longer taking them for granted. In her diary, she penned poetic descriptions of country roads, majestic mountains, and the serene beauty of creeks and rivers that captured her heart. Her affinity for the phases of the moon was evident in her life. She spent many a night star gazing with friends, sharing her knowledge, hopes and dreams. In honor of this connection, her ashes will be scattered locally during the full moon phase in April, 2024.
