Craig Valley Chapter, NSDAR entertained residents at the New Castle Commons with a Valentine’s Tea. Attendees first heard the 1860s love story of the couple known professionally as Tom Thumb and Mrs. General Tom Thumb, then were served fresh-baked scones with clotted cream, cucumber sandwiches and a variety of fruit and sweets. Pictured is a place setting with flowers and favors, chocolate covered strawberries, and the tea party in full swing. This event is one of the community service projects done by the chapter.
