who are on the sewer system. To reduce sewage flow into our system, the Authority has had a policy that sump pumps tied into the sewer system are not allowed. The authority will conduct inspections at the beginning of this spring to search for such connections. When found, the customers will be notified in writing to remove such connections from the Authority’s System. The customer will have ninety days from such notification to correct this situation or receive a surcharge of $ 20.00 per month added to their sewage payment until the problem is resolved.
