Our mom Lillian Smith, 1926 – 2021, of Craig County has gone on her next great adventure, where many loved ones are waiting for her, including her husband, George E. Smith.
Lillian is survived by her three children, Susan Blick (Jeffrey), Nancy Carroll (John) and Lisa Bradfield (Brad). Ever the patriotic woman, Lillian answered the need for her country’s safety while in her teenage years as a civil servant in the WWII conflict.
Lillian was in the last graduating class of the U.S. Cadet Corps of Nursing. Upon graduation she practiced as a Registered Nurse for the remainder of her working career. Mom/Aunt Lil/Granny Smith, we love you, a bushel and a peck, and a hug around your neck – we’ll be dreaming in our sleep about you.
Food and flowers are greatly appreciated, however, a donation to the ASPCA, Angels of Assisi, the League of Older Americans, or a charity of your choice in Lillian’s memory would serve her soul far better.
