There have been many programs established to assist local schools with students’ meals during this trying time of the coronavirus pandemic. Meals are a very important factor for many students, and now, all Craig County children will be able to pick up free meals.
Jeanette Warwick, Superintendent of Craig County Public Schools, recently shared, “We are participating in the Summer Food Service Program, which has been extended to December 31, 2020. Meals will be provided to all children (ages 18 and under) without charge and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability. There will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service.”
She also noted that the meals are available to all children residing in Craig County as enrollment in Craig County Public Schools is not required for a child to receive meals.
In-person students:
- Monday – Thursday:

- High school students may pick up meals on their virtual days

Warwick continued:
