Ilona Smith Abbott, 89 of New Castle, Virginia, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 10.
She was preceded in death by her husband Herbert Abbott Sr., parents; Ray and Ida Smith, sisters; Eunice S. Arrington and Louise S. Bostic. She is survived by son; Herbert (Herbie) Abbott Jr., daughter; Suzanne Abbott Holth, son; Samuel (Sammy) Abbott, daughter and son-in-law; Lisa and Joe Martin, daughter-in-law; Toni Abbott, grandchildren; Craig Abbott and Marilea, Elizabeth Crush and Charlie, Coleman Holth, Emily All and Charlie, Kristen Barbour and Drew, Jacob Martin, Justin Martin, and Jodee Benitez and Francisco (Benny), great-grandchildren; Cordelia Crush, Elijah Crush, Samuel Boardwine, Camryn Boardwine, Cohen All, Silas All, Jayden Martin, Colton Martin, and Nolan Martin, numerous nephews and nieces, special nephew; Jackie and wife Sue Bostic.
