Walter (Walt) W. Paitsel, 80, of New Castle, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, August 22, 2018. Walt loved the outdoors and had a love for animals. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be truly missed.
He was preceded in death by parents Clint and Maggie Paitsel; daughter Louise Paitsel; brothers Alfred, Jess and Marion Paitsel; sister Virginia Wymer; son-in-law Robert (Bootie) Via.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62-years Frances Paitsel; daughter and son-in-law Mary and Gene Kendall; daughter Carolyn (Susie) Via; daughter and son-in-law Sandy and Keith Ray; grandchildren Chris Paitsel, Chad Kendall, Tina Via Stauffer and Tyler Via Blankenship, Jacob Beard and Jerad Ray; great-grandchildren Page, Savannah, Garrett, and Malachi Paitsel, Harmony and Chase Kendall, Cody and Jadyn Rock, Landon and Dalton Blankenship, and Ember Ray; sister Claudine Hutchison; numerous nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service, officiated by Pastor Lee Looney, was held at 2 p.m. on Friday, August 24, at Huffman Memorial Park. Arrangements were by Paitsel Funeral Home. www.paitselfh.com
