The Blue Ridge Land Conservancy is now accepting applications for rural land conservation
A conservation agreement with the Blue Ridge Land Conservancy is a great way to protect your land for years to come. This agreement will protect your land from development and aid you in passing on your land to your children or heirs. There are also generous federal and state tax deductions and credits that are available to landowners who conserve their rural land.
For more information or to request a conservation guide, e-mail David Perry at [email protected], call (540) 985-0000 or visit brlcva.org. Applications for land conservation agreements can be downloaded from the website. Land Conservancy staff are happy to talk by phone or visit rural landowners on their property.
The Blue Ridge Land Conservancy is a Roanoke-based nonprofit organization founded in 1996. Today it protects nearly 20,000 acres of land and nearly 60 miles of streams in the greater Roanoke region of Virginia.
