Four local sports journalists from both television and print media will be the featured speakers at the Roanoke Valley Sports Club meeting on Monday, January 15, at the Salem Civic Center. Meeting activities begin at 5:45 pm with the dinner at 6 pm.
WDBJ -TV sports reporter Travis Wells and Roanoke Times sports writers Doug Doughty, Aaron McFarling and Randy King will join together on a panel to make general comments, share sports insights, express opinions and provide inside information and stories about their special knowledge.
In addition, the Sports Club will recognize the state champions from the Salem High School and the Roanoke Catholic football teams and the volleyball state champions from Lord Botetourt High School.
