The weather didn’t put too much of a damper on An Evening in Buchanan last Friday. The 15th annual downtown event included a chance to win at Cow Pie Bingo— a fundraiser for the Special Events Committee and manned by Beaver Dam Farm’s Charles Provost. Scott Beard of Fincastle wound up collecting half the pot. Caricature artist Jed Mickle draws a picture of 4-year-old Lindsey Branch during the evening. She’s with her aunt and uncle, Tara and Mike Shanks while the popular carriage ride came past a row of antique cars that were also part of the evening event.
