A Pancake Breakfast will be served this Saturday morning, August 26, at the Old Brick Hotel in conjunction with the Main Street Cruise-In.
For a donation to the Craig County Historical Society of $10, diners may feast on hand-flipped pancakes with warm syrup, scrambled eggs, sausage and apples. Proceeds will be used for projects of the Society, including rebinding of local history books and repair to the vintage well house behind the Hotel. Breakfast in the Hotel dining room will begin at 8 a.m. and continue to about 11:00, or until the pancakes are gone.
The Society is pleased to announce their 2017 Raffle which will be drawn at the close of the 35th Craig County Fall Festival on October 14, 2017. First prize is a pair of gold filled amethyst pierced earrings donated by Ginger’s Jewelry of Roanoke. Second prize is a $300 gift card from Grand Home Furnishings and third prize is a $100 IGA Express card donated by Mike and Richard Carper. Tickets are $1 each and can be purchased on the hotel porch during the Pancake Breakfast on August 26.
