The Salem Roanoke Baseball Hall of Fame announced the winner of the annual Ray Bellamy Award at the Red Sox game with Buies Creek on August 9. Cody Boone of Hidden Valley was the winner of the award, signifying the top high school player in the Hall of Fame area.
