The distance run is scheduled to begin at 8 am. Once again Michael Wadian, a runner of national acclaim, will be a guest runner.
After the festivities are over, former Andrew Lewis and Salem coach Richard Browder invites all former athlete who competed for his boys or girls teams to meet for a social at Mac & Bob’s.
“Jack Kirby has organized a get-together of folks who were members of the track and cross country teams at Andrew Lewis and Salem when I was the coach,” said Browder. “Anyone who wants to attend the get-together can contact Jack Kirby at his email address(jkirby2415@aol com) or just show up at Mac and Bob’s at noon.”
