“We had a great meet Monday,” said coach Robin Bowen. “There were many best swims and we ended the evening with an after meet social with floats, diving for sodas, and glow sticks.”
In the water the 6 and under boys 25 Freestyle featured Caleb Sullivan, who took 1st place Bronze and in the 6 and under boys Fly, and Mason Young, who took 1st place Bronze.
Madison Gee took 1st place Gold in the 6 and under girls 25 Freestyle and 1st place Silver in the 25 Fly. Katelyn and Adelia Higginbotham took 1st and 2nd place Bronze in the 25 Freestyle.
Jake James took 1st place Bronze in the 7-8 boys 25 Breastroke and in the 100 IM while Peyton Smith took 1st place Gold in the 7-8 girls 25 Breastroke.
Aliese Viar took 1st place Gold in the 9-10 girls 50 Breastroke and 1st place Silver in the 100 IM. Emery Weld took 1st place Gold in the 9-10 girls 100 IM and 2nd place Gold in the Breastroke.
In the 11-12 girls 50 Breastroke and 100 IM, Kaylee Hagadorn took 1st place Gold. Sydney Bobo took 2nd place Gold in the 50 Breast and 2nd place Silver in the 100 IM. Kai Bowen took 1st place Silver in the 50 Breastroke and in the 100 IM.
Caleb Hagadorn took 1st place Gold in the 11-12 boys 50 Breastroke and in the 100 IM. Blake Perez took 1st place Bronze in the 50 Breastroke. Cole Bowen took 1st place Bronze in the 100 IM.
Hope Smith took 1st place Gold in the girls 13-14 girls 50 Breastroke and 100 IM. Trey Lowe took 1st place Gold in the 17-18 boys 50 Breastroke and 100 IM. He also broke a longstanding HVCC record in the 50 Breastroke. Aidan Finucane took 2nd place Gold in both events and the HVCC adults swam many Gold times.
