The Craig County softball team will compete in a three-team tournament in Lynchburg over spring break. The tournament will be held at Brookville High School this Saturday.
Craig will open with a 10 am game against Brookville. After Brookville and Broadway play the Rockets will play again in the afternoon against Broadway. Craig will play at either 2 or 4 pm, depending on the results of the morning game.
The Rockets were frozen out of a game with Auburn last Thursday, and that will be made up on May 1. Likewise, the boys had their home baseball game with Montcalm called off on Friday of last week. That game will not be made up.
Craig County schools are off for spring break this week. The Rocket teams will host Parry McCluer in both baseball and softball on Tuesday, April 18, when they return from break next week.
