The Botetourt County Public School Division School Spelling Bee Champions included: Sara McFadyen, Breckinridge; Audrey Joyce, Buchanan; Hunter Barrett, Central Academy; Brayden Wells, Cloverdale; Allyson Kessler, Colonial; Lydia Dunbar, Eagle Rock; Cole Maydian, Greenfield; Jumana El Shenawy, Read Mountain, and Laila Alam, Troutville. They competed in the Spelling Bee on February 7 at Lord Botetourt High School.
