RADFORD — The United States Navy Concert Band will perform a free concert Wednesday at Radford University.
The concert, scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m., will be held at Bondurant Auditorium in Preston Hall.
Formed in 1925, the band is directed by Capt. Brian O. Walden and is comprised of 56 musicians performing on bassoon, clarinet, euphonium, flute, harp, horn, oboe, percussion, saxophone, string bass, trombone, trumpet and tuba.
Free tickets are available at RU’s Bonnie Hurlburt Student Center and also online by clicking here. There is a limit of four per person. Online tickets must be printed out and presented at the performance.
The concert starts at 7:30 p.m. Ticket holders are asked to arrive and take their seats by 7:15 p.m. Those without tickets will be seated at 7:20 p.m.
